We re-cork cork clutch plates as fitted to Morris, MG, Wolseley, Railton, Hudson, BSA etc. We will only undertake the work to customer's own clutch plate and usually offer a turn round despatch within 2 weeks.
Our work is dependent on the clutch plate being in a serviceable condition. We remove old cork pads, fit new pads and face the unit to the appropriate thickness. The cost of this service is approximately £1.80 per cork, plus a standard charge of £35 for preparation and set up, but for an actual price please contact us. Should it be required, at additional cost, we can attend to some straightening of the plate and also replacement of rivets and springs. If this work is required we will contact you with the additional cost for the work we recommend. If the central drive splines are too badly worn for the cutch to be serviceable, we will advise of this on receipt.
If placing the order on-line please do not pay by PayPal, but request a quote so an accurate price for the number of corks and any extra work required can be taken into account.
Any quoted price we offer for an unseen item will only cover the cost of the cork replacement. Please note that we do not re-cork motorcycle plates. If in doubt please contact us.
