High performance LEDs, significantly brighter than standard 60/55W H4 halogen bulbs in testing, emitting a 5000k neutral white colour. A good option between our 4300k classic white and 6300k bright white LEDs.Utilising latest HGL3 5530 LEDs from Lattice Power with enhanced light density. Designed to fit Lucas 7" type headlamps with H4 bulbs, the popular Stella Lux LED conversion features premium quality light units with a 30,000+ hour lifespan and is compliant with current UK MOT testing requirements on vehicles first used before 1st April 1986. Accepts 11 to 60V input voltage - optimised for 12V, negative OR positive earth systems. High and low beam - 1600 Lumen high beam, 1600 Lumen low beam - with a soft beam pattern. In testing, much brighter (LUX measurement at fixed distance) than B370 (45/40W). The LED layout is designed to match the original filament layout, including low beam filament shield. The lamp produces a good high and low beam pattern - with the dip pattern governed by the lamp lens. High performance CSP 1860 LED upgrade for SBC headlamp bulbs with the BA15D base. Integral aluminium heatsink. Accepts 5 to 9V input voltage - optimised for 6V, negative OR positive earth systems. High and low beam - 1600 Lumen high beam, 1600 Lumen low beam - with a soft beam pattern. In testing, much brighter (LUX measurement at fixed distance) than B170 (36/36W). The LED layout and inclusion of a low beam filament shield on this lamp means makes this a dipping bulb in the syle of some Marchal, Bosch and later British Pre-focus bulbs. Some early BA15D bulb designs did have special dipping filament arrangements - either a transverse 'V' filament next to an axial 'V' filament, or a hemispherical shield under the dipped beam filament - though these bulbs have not been available for many years. In testing, this LED lamp produced a great high and low beam pattern with Lucas 'U' flute style lenses in particular and is the recommended BA15D 'no integral lens' LED lamp upgrade for early headlamps fitted with these lenses, with or without a Bi-flex bar. For 'Difusa' style lenses, we recommend the BA15DLED-H30-6N or 6P style LED, which imitates a twin (unshielded) filament bulb, or BA15DLED-H43L with the integral lens that produces great light output - regardless of reflector condition - and an excellent, defined dipping pattern Very low current draw - over 75% less than incandescent and halogen bulbs so great for low powered, vintage electrical systems. 4300K classic, warm white colour temperature.
